We are amazed by the outpouring of support and extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you.
Remembering John Miller
It is with heavy hearts that we remember our dear friend, John Miller, whose sudden passing has left a profound void in the Jack’s Helping Hand family.
We will deeply miss John’s kindness, support, and the quiet strength he brought to every event. His legacy of service reminds us that some of the greatest acts of generosity are those performed without fanfare, simply out of love for a cause and a community.
Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with John’s family and loved ones during this difficult time. We are grateful for the years he shared with us and for the ways he helped make our mission possible. He will forever hold a special place in the heart of Jack’s Helping Hand.
Gratitude in August!
August Children of the Month— Meet Alaynnah and Jayden!
Every month, we highlight a child so you can learn about the wonderful children we help in our community. This month, we would like you to meet siblings Alaynnah and Jayden!
Alaynnah is 12 years old and has severe autism, sensory processing disorder, and ADHD, along with significant stomach issues that have required multiple tests, surgeries, and visits with specialists. She loves music, dancing, and Harry Potter.
Her little brother, Jayden, is 2 years old and has severe autism, sensory processing disorder and is nonverbal. He also experiences hearing, breathing, and blood disorders that require ongoing specialty care. Jayden receives weekly infusions at Cottage Hospital and recently underwent two surgeries at Valley Children’s Hospital. He also recently received an AAC device to help him learn to communicate his wants and needs functionally. Jayden loves squishy toys, animals, and playing with water.
