January Superstar — Jack Ready!

As we start 2024, we want to share the story of the amazing boy who started our journey—Jack Ready!

Jack was diagnosed with a brain tumor at a very young age. Like other children, Jack learned to communicate, eat, and play games, but he needed special equipment and assistance to do those things. During the course of Jack’s journey, the Ready’s recognized that families with children with cancer and other special needs faced unexpected financial burdens. Jack’s three-year struggle with cancer ended in 2004, and his legacy continues on in the hearts of those he touched. Jack’s Helping hand was created out of the desire to provide assistance to families, the community’s willingness to support, and the life of a very special boy. We are so honored to reach other children like Jack and their families, and we are excited to continue their stories with you this year!
